I've had this amazingly convenient and useful product (the 5.5 by 8 feet size), for about a month now. If you're like me, who prefers to sleep on the floor, and be barefoot or in socks even in winter, you may love this solution.

For me, I also save electricity cost as my main room is mostly heated from the bottom up and through direct body contact through my dainty feet.

 

But because this product is splattered with patents and such, the price may be artificially higher.  There's basically zero competition that I know of to this still quite valuable product.
