Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 LG reports $75,000 worth of TVs went missing after DNC A year and a half after the Democratic National Convention rolled through Charlotte, LG Electronics has reported that TVs worth a total of $75,000 went missing after the event, Time Warner Cable News is reporting.As a technology sponsor of the 2012 DNC, LG provided about 500 flat-screen TVs to be used at convention venues. After sorting through the returned inventory, LG came up about 70 units short, according to the report.LG says it filed a police report this week after attempts over the past year to work out the issue with its insurance provider have failed.
