TheMatrixHasMe Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I am nauseous reading this. My parents are from Ireland. This story speaks to the intergenerational pit of bodies that is part of my history.
quickstine Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 You don't have to take it on Matrix. There is a pit of bodies in all our histories ...
st434u Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I may be missing something, but it doesn't say anything about the children being murdered. It just says they were buried there. Could you expand on why you feel this way, Steve?
TheMatrixHasMe Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 I appreciate what you're saying, thank you. It's a silent internal history that was passed "into" me by my parents.

st434u Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I don't know. That's why I asked why you felt that way about it.
TheMatrixHasMe Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 So, if I understand what you're asking is that you don't have any idea whatsoever why I might be feeling nauseated by the "story"? Let's imagine for a moment that the news article is a little different. We will bring it up to date to the present. You just read a story that your local veterinarian had been taking in pregnant cats and dogs the last 40 years. For some unexplainable medical reason, all the the puppies and kittens that were born at this vet's office all contracted some kind of similar disease and/or medical condition. Instead of consulting with other vetinarians, or local medical professionals, or checking with farmers of livestock over the course of 40 years, you learn in the article that four hundred puppies were flushed down the toilet, and into the underground septic tank buried behind your local vets office. In addition to the four hundred puppies, an additional 400 kittens were flushed down into the same shit hole. Are you able to imagine what that might have been like for the puppies or kittens? Are you able to imagine that the vetinarian had the best interest of the animals in mind? Irrespective of how the puppies or kittens died, do you have any thoughts or feelings about puppies and kittens being flushed down a toilet? Would you really believe the story that the vet was telling? Are you beginning to feel anything?
