alexanderg Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Sometimes, when the feminist propaganda gets unbearably crazy, it helps me to remember that all this is ripe for satire. To this end, I have created a character called Ms. LonelyHearts, who appears from time to time on my channel (The Critical G) Rather than invent feminism strawmen, Ms. LonelyHearts simply reads feminists' own words with a little more drama than they might have intended. Here's hoping it gives you a few laughs!Dramatic Reading of "Schrödinger's Rapist" by Miss LonelyHeartshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlK_aQjzqrQ&index=2&list=PLSKoTIjE4E2PhVGkC_GdC1LYZXsrYIf7HDramatic Reading of Adria Richards' Donglegate Blog Post by Miss LonelyHearts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnH3CW9x_lc&index=3&list=PLSKoTIjE4E2PhVGkC_GdC1LYZXsrYIf7H Dramatic Reading by Miss Lonelyhearts: "PIV Is Always Rape, OK?" PatrickC Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Ha, I remember the Shrodinger's rapist, very funny. One of the first videos I watched of yours I think. Thanks for posting
MMX2010 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Schrodinger's Rapist is the best thing ever because it establishes that "one-in-sixty" is such a sufficiently high risk level that it causes females/feminists to lecture an entire gender. However, it is estimated that between "one-in-ten" and "one-in-twenty-five" families have children whose paternity is false. Therefore, I can confidently state, "If you don't support mandatory paternity testing for all new births in America, then I don't feel guilty rejecting your Schrodinger's Rapist arguments."
Frosty Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Hey CriticalG I have followed your youtube channel for some time, you have some really good videos. This is essentially Poe's law in effect, feminism exists in such extreme variants that it's not possible to distinguish between the extremists and a parody of the extremists. When you have prominent feminists featured in feminist literature as saying that all men should be castrated, it's no longer clear if that's an extreme view or simply a parody of feminism. It's often problematic for parody such as yours because inevitably there's always some people who believe it's actually real simply because the extremist behaviour has become so normalized.
