trodas Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I have a good news! The simple yet most devastating thruth, that taxes are theft (and violent one too, if you dare not to comply), is slowly becomming mainstream thinking. You can find it even in "innocent" joke: todays thiefs So it is a great news for manking and definitively it is true, that the powers that be have lost the control of the dialog. And that is a good thing. Yet they know it, listen carefully to this war criminal speaking: http://youtu.be/8Zq4f6WYmHU?t=8m43s I mean... who are not happy, when see the first shots of the information war to get fired on? Spread the truth and change will come. I make sure to post this joke everywhere I can Yes, it require a little thinking, but... only a little. When politician "vote for me" is representing a thief, then we are making progress! 7
ParaSait Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Love it! Ridicule is the first sign that an idea is dying.
Wuzzums Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 When people are pushing back (whether through ridicule or peaceful protests) is when the state should be most feared. A cornered animal is a very dangerous animal. This is why I love the idea of change through peaceful parenting. It's less about pushing back and more about waiting for the predator to die out.
cynicist Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 It's a funny joke but I'm not sure it's a sign of progress. I've seen many instances where politicians are considered thieves and liars, but that's a long way from recognizing taxes/government as institutionalized theft. 1
trodas Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 Robert Rak - true for most of your skepticism. But... just wait. Putting 2 and 2 together is not that hard. More and more peoples will figure that out, sooner or later. After all, it is becomming more and more obvious with each step in the global enslavement. The big red pill about the economy is not getting (except WallStreet crocks) better is just around the corner, so they will have to lie even more obviously (What was that this time? Harsh winder? Yenah, right!), witch wake even more peoples pronto.
Sumeet Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 It's a funny joke but I'm not sure it's a sign of progress. I've seen many instances where politicians are considered thieves and liars, but that's a long way from recognizing taxes/government as institutionalized theft. Based on what I've seen, I'd tend to agree. A lot of people seem to agree (or at least have no argument) with the notion that government is dishonest and politicians are liars and thieves. But given how widespread cognitive dissonance is in society, people accept that notion, but then turn around and go right back to voting, binge-watching CNN/FoxNews/MSNBC, and saying "there oughta be a law...". 1
trodas Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 Well, if they view politics as crocks, then you should ask them innocent question right after you have them acknowledge that the politicians are lying bastards: "Law? Who do you think will write the law?" (could it be... the very same politicians? could it be, that the law only give them more power and less responsibility?)
cynicist Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 (could it be... the very same politicians? could it be, that the law only give them more power and less responsibility?) The problem is they will just say that people need to be more vigilant about who they vote for, and if we could just get the right people in there...
Brentb Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Printed in 1878. The truth about taxation isn't new. 4
JohnH. Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 In my experience, when people complain about politicians being liars, they usually mean the other politicians, not the one they voted for. 2
mthenke Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I think the question we are really asking is not one of, "how do we fix this country?" but rather, "what are the alternatives?" Am I too far off? Sorry if I am, I'm still finding my footing here. Manifest Destiny amounted basically to a declaration of war on the native people of what we now call America. We're a nation of devils, but we didn't start out that way. Is the problem that America's too big to fail, so that's why we keep propping it up? Or are we scared of a world without America in it? Would life on our own, without allegiance to a 'higher power' (religious double entendre!), be so bad? By 'we' I'm attempting to address the entire American population, not just us..
trodas Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 just get the right people in there... the other politicians, not the one they voted for I hope that one day the wast majority realize, that unless they can kick any politician out ASAP, when more that 50% that vote him in did vote that he is no longer representing them, then the mandate they get (4, 5 or 6 years depending on country and institution) is mandate for dictatorship. If you can vote them in, but can't vote them out, that is dictatorship. And even in ancient Rome, the dictator could be only in state emergency and only for 1 year. And we know that even this was wrong and ended badly, but that was 1 year. They did not go under 4 these says, so... Brentb - good point. But we already forgotten these old ideas of liberty. Manifest Destiny amounted basically to a declaration of war on the native people of what we now call America. True. But what you can do about it now? There are always evil things done in the past. Do you think that Germany should be paying for what people, that are long time dead, did to people, that are long time dead during WW2? Is not collective punishment unlafwull? Is the problem that America's too big to fail No. And we sadly will see and experience the fall. However USA got the good ideas, how to hook up to the rest of the world by making the dollar as world reserve currency. Let me give you a example: Canada want to buy cars from China. The selling price is CAD, then it get converted to dollars, that Canada send to Chinna and get cars, and then in China, they convert dolars to Yuans. Mad, huh? But that is what drive the need for dollars. You had to have dollars to buy goods (mainly oil is only sell for dollars). That is why even a country like Czech republic (middle of Europe, 10M peoples only) have too many dollars in our own central bank. Because we have to...! We pay Russians for their oil and gas by - dollars. So, back to USA. I you have a commodity, that everyone needs (dollars), then you get them by the balls. That is why, even the whole world know that is being robbed blind, get in the line. I mean - you will too, if someone got you by the balls. That is why whole EU get in the line, even when Victoria Nuland says "Fuck the EU." No politician dare to say: "What? Are she serious? Whitehouse did not kick her out and apologize for her ways and vocabulary? Okay then, fuck the USA!" As long, as the US army is able to push the petrodollar or at least intimidate countries that will not get in line (Iraq, Lybia, Syria, Iran), petrodollar stays and the USA stays because of it. But as more and more countries get off the dollar for their trade, the status is starting to fall. And when it fails, then in few weeks at most you will see the consequences of not having anymore the luxury of being just able to produce worthless green papers (or even worthless bonds or even only digits on the screen) and get everything you ever need for it as whole country. And this day is comming and world will be turned upside down almost overnight.
