I am moving to the US!

When I tell some people this, they look at me as if I am mad. "Why on EARTH would you ever move there??".

But even me, without actually living in the US, will not consider it a last stop. I will be applying pressure to move around the 5 year mark of living there.

My reason is that, I feel like there is acceleration towards events that will unfold, that is counter productive with respect to survival.

I have not decided on where I will go after, but southern america, new zealand, scandinavian countries, Iceland. I think the biggest deciding factor for me is, how much freedom can I get, how happy I might be in this new place.

The problem is that freedom is not particularly great anywhere right now, I'm kind of tempted to sign up for the Free State Project and look at getting US Citizenship but I have reservations about living in the US, they were once very free but the government is getting bad very quickly.

I currently live in the US and I always think about moving but every country I think of has so many problems as well that it makes it difficult to choose which slave masters I want to live under. So, currently, I am just building up my bank account so I can move to the north mid-west states like Idaho, Wyoming, or Montana. This way, I can remove myself as much as possible from the constant sirens, speedtraps, all of that. I would also love to move people like myself close by and basically have our own "kinda free" society. But ya, if I were to move out of the country which I still might do, I'd move to Japan. I know many people who live there and it seems like the best place to live. Everyone tells me that they walk around in the middle of the night and never feel threatened or in fear of anything. They said that they pass cops all the time almost never have any problems. The problem they said they get once in awhile is they will ask to see ID, but they said the cops are very polite about it. Now, I am not saying that that is right, just that if I am going to be forced to show my ID or anything, I rather them being polite and friendly then a hand on their weapon, quickly closing in to attack like I see over in here in the US very often. But ya, there are my thoughts. :P

I moved from the US to Panama. I am lucky, my wife is Panamanian so it wasn't hard to get here. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.I would encourage US residents to look into moving here (they are very influenced by US culture and do not resent you for where you were from like in other parts of the world) if it fits their needs, do the research. I can vouch for it. Much freer society, it's like the US use to be back in the day. If you can create a business and invest, or have a very good and needed skill set you likely can make it here. As it is more free, the business environment and taxes are way lower. That said, no where is perfect, including Panama. If anyone wants to know more or has any question feel free to PM me.
