heresolong Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I recently had to go back to my old Blackberry Tour and can't find a decent podcast app. I am stuck using one that requires a typed in URL to subscribe to a podcast. Problem is I can't find the podcast URL anywhere. Seems like it should start with http://feed.fdrpodcasts.com/... Any input would be helpful until I can decide what phone to get which would have a decent podcast manager. Thanks.
Kevin Beal Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 The URL to the feeds are under the heading "Subscribe to the Freedomain Radio Podcast Feeds" on FDRPodcasts.com. You can also browse the podcasts on FDRPodcasts, although it's not built for mobile browsing. It will work on mobile just fine (I use it on my phone), it's just a little too wide.

That gives me URLs for individual shows but that is a bit cumbersome. I was using Beyondpod on my Android and I had a subscription to Stefan's podcast that would just give me the list of the latest. Any idea what the URL is for that feed?

There are URLs all over that page, but I'm talking specifically about the buttons underneath the heading "Subscribe to the Freedomain Radio Podcast Feeds". That's whole feeds, the one Samuel posted being one example of them.
SamuelS Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Volume6 is the "most recent" stream (where new content is added) -- https://board.freedomainradio.com/topic/39916-forum-downtime-2014-05-09-starting-6pm-mdt/the others I agree aren't hard to find, at least on a PC, but nonetheless, are: feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadiofeeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioPart2 feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioVolume3Shows562feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioVolume4Shows898feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioVolume5feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioVolume6Shows2120-2575 1
