Psychophant Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 For a long time I relied on a ravioli-fastfood-fudge-and-candy diet which wasn't balanced and oversaturated with sugar and salt. Even though I cycle about 20 - 40 km a day, it is tasty but I have already seen issues with that in brittle and weak hair. I want to grow healthy hair, so that's the main reason for a change. I start the day with a big portion oatmeal with a banana and milk. During the day I eat another banana and 4 plums which equal a total of 3 cups of fruit. In the evening I have fish or ravioli for the evening meal. I mainly get vitamin A, B, C, K, protein and biotin out of it AFAIK. I am a diabetic type 1 which means my pancreas needs insulin injections. In carbonhydrate units these are 12 for the oat meal and 9 for the fruits until afternoon and 12 for evening meal. I cycle about 20km a day right now. Are 3 cups of fruit to much on a daily basis? 1
