Coreforcruxes Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I wanted to share a possible tool for finding a therapist that was referred to me by a relative of the individual who started the non-profit. It is specifically for those who do not have insurance and need a more affordable option.http://openpathcollective.org/"Open Path is a collective of therapists who have generously agreed to provide in-office treatment for $30 to $50 a session. Open Path clients pay a one-time membership fee to work with an Open Path therapist at a significantly reduced rate."Personally I have not found it useful as I am stubborn about finding a Therapist with extensive experience and who specializes in IFS ( Internal Family Systems Therapy ) and the website does not have a filter for methodology or certs (that I can find). So right now I am relying on http://selfleadership.org and Psychologytoday.com ( find a therapist tab ). Though I am commited to finding a therapist so eventually I will use this tool if need be and provide first hand feedback. 3

munchie420 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Thanks for this. A friend of mind is starting a search and didn't know where to turn.
Drew. Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Just as a note, I offer therapy services as well. I primarily use the IFS method and am available over skype. My rates are competitive ($30-50) as well, and I offer a free consultation.
