Thank you!!!

I can not tell you how much help I got from your latest pod-cast on cruelty. I have the same history as the caller. I did all the same things. Toward the end of the pod-cast my heart was begging for the man to feel the suffering he had caused, to connect with the sorrow and remorse that he had shut off. I was balling my eyes out. For the innocent that died at my hand and his and so many others. I am sad for those who may never heal, if we do not see that we have turned our human switch off, taken the place of the torturer, and choosen not to turn the switch back on. He cant feel sorrow or sympathy for the kittens, because doing so will mean seeing the horror of it, acknowledging his horrific role, and recognizing the feelings of helpless pain he experienced as a child. I could not have seen my own problem so clearly without having heard this conversation.

I love you all, for what you are doing.

Anything a human being does is human, because it is a part of actions a human is capable of. If you would only assign the more complex actions and interactions to humans, shitting wasn't a human need at all, the same applies to eating. You just created an abitrary standard called not human asigned to a human being.
