Daniel Unplugged
I just watched a video where Adam Kokesh took the #rubblebucketchallenge and nominated Stefan to do the same. You can guess what the challenge involves. It is done to show solidarity with the victims of war, especially Palestinians. I don't know how to link a youtube video, so if someone else could, it would be appreciated.

shirgall
These PR stunts are just as valuable as changing your profile picture on Facebook to "support the cause." They should get as much attention as you give chain letters and cat pictures.
Alvaro Bernardes
Why do you say that shirgall? The ALS Ice bucket challenge has increased donations by 3,500%. Edit: Even though the rubble bucket challange may not catch on, many of these PR stunts work and raise awareness.

Edit: Even though the rubble bucket challange may not catch on, many of these PR stunts work and raise awareness. While they raise awareness, they compete with other things for my attention with a method that really doesn't deserve attention. It was cute, sure, and viral, but that in itself doesn't make it worthy of attention. ALS has plenty to make it deserving of some attention, sure, but celebrities doing stupid things isn't one of them.
J-William
Sounds like good fun, I've got a bucket of dirt and a video camera...
fractional slacker
10 to 1 odds Stef declines. Why should anyone consider this challenge? It doesn't raise money, it doesn't help cure a terrible disease. This sort of challenge highlights the massive violence and damage that occurs on a daily basis in Gaza and the West Bank. It's not fun, it's not glamorous, but then again neither is being bombed and living in an open air prison. Kudos to Kokesh for doing something other than just talking on youtube.

shirgall
Hey, I love cat pictures... Yeah, that's nearly a universal, I was trying to be funny.
jpahmad
I agree with fractional slacker. Imagine a kid watching the "rubble bucket game" being enjoyed by middle class Americans who just pulled his dead family out of the rubble in Gaza or West Bank.
