MRW Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Hey FDR! I've just introduced a close libertarian friend to FDR. I've given him some really good intro videos that mainly focus on politics and the lighter information in general. I've also given him the Bomb in the Brain presentation for when he's ready for something more serious. But soon enough, he's going to start listening to call in shows and I was wondering if any of you had some favorite shows that that deal with self knowledge and family relationships that can help blow his mind. I already have two but I want some more. I think this thread will be helpful for future new listeners too. 2

PGP Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I've been going back through the podcasts and there are two that have stood out for me recently: http://cdn.media.freedomainradio.com/feed/FDR_695_Mysticism_As_Scar_Tissue.mp3 http://cdn.media.freedomainradio.com/feed/FDR_696_Mysticism_As_Scar_Tissue_Part_2.mp3 695 and 696 available from: http://feeds.feedburner.com/FreedomainRadioVolume3Shows562 My best attempt to explain it is that they go into how knowledge of peoples desire for virtue is subverted and manipulated with approval and the necessity for doublethink. 1

Jot Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 My first call-in show was The Truth Is a Bomb! It was about 9 months ago and even if I only listened to him once I think I could be able to make a transcript of it of the top of my head.
EuanM Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 A couple of suggestions. 2nd caller. 2nd Caller again. 2
