Shane Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 http://www.templeton.org/belief/index.html This helped me feel less like an idiot for still having questions.
shirgall Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 http://www.templeton.org/belief/index.html This helped me feel less like an idiot for still having questions. Nothing wrong with questioning anything... where everyone needs to be worried is when they get into a situation where they think absolutely nothing could change their mind.
WasatchMan Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 This is some pretty 'old hat' as they say. God is a logical fallacy by definition, philosophy proves he doesn't exist, not science. Science only tests what DOES exist. If you were ever able to identify something as god, it would no longer be god, by definition. 3
powder Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Why ask priests and pastors or athiests whether or not they think God exists? what do you think they will say? Why does it matter? Being inquisitive is very good. asking the right questions, also, really good. Morality matters. Religion, 'faith', and the gods of religions, have done a poor job of curbing evil in the world.
