Are the egalitarians arguments against "privilege" self detonating?

Egalitarians want to create a fairer society, which seems to mean one where people have equal opportunities and status.Invariably they argue against "privilege". Does the making of this argument require both privilege in the forming and stating of it, and also the government solutions necessitate privilege?

drives me so nuts.  I HATE that argument, its up there with "only white people can be racist" as the most frustrating byproduct of the social justice brainwashing of modern academia.

I wouldn't mind egalitarianism if it didn't tend to rob certain parties of all responsibility past, present and future.Also there's really no way to get around the fact that different people are "privileged" with different physical and mental capacities.

"privileged" is a racist and sexist epitaph, it is used only based on your skin color or gender, is only intended derogatorily, and to dismiss your perspective out of hand.  It is intolerant, segregating, and derogatory; itself a logical fallacy based on a small and ignorant world view designed and implemented exclusively to disenfranchise a majority of the population.

To 'fix' 'problems' with 'inequality' would require giving violent power to certain people.

 

Thereby creating the greatest inequality of all.

 

 

Yes, it's self-detonating if the person is implying that privilege needs to be 'fixed'.
