Carl Green Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I was considering removing it but the thought crossed my mind that I might need something like it for some future tech in networking or something. How valid is that thought?
dsayers Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I don't follow tech too closely. However, the way cellphones have no external antenna, I'm sure any future needs for such a thing would either be self-contained, or significantly more advanced and compact.
NumberSix Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 You can probably get rid of it. It is directional and built for different wavelength.
amaranth Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I suppose if you procured a digital converter box it would still be of some use. It could also be converted into an antenna for a shortwave radio rig.
