basically if you are all your memories + your awareness, and there are either infinite universes or infinite time, if you die will you just instantly re-gain awareness in another universe or time? also if gestalt psychology is valid, and our environment is part of our identity, then might we even just pop back exactly where we died?

Quantum immortality does not say that you don't die. The entropy still works in all of the many worlds. You get older and you will die. What it says is pretty simple: If the Many World Interpretations is true, there are observers who survive suicide attempts several times, thus validating the Many World Interpretation. However, most observers will die which is the reason why these experiments don't tend to be overly popular.

I understand your argument, but you need to understand that your consciousness only lasts as long as your brain does. When you die, your brain pretty much shuts off, so your consciousness ends. When you die, there's nothing.
