PatrickC
Emma's second speech at the UN published yesterday. It has become very much about women as was always suspected. She also does a nice little ditty about, what have you MEN done for the women in your life.
MMX2010
I didn't watch the video, but I did see a Manosphere meme from who-knows-where: "Emma Watson says, 'If you're not my boyfriend, be beta; but if you want to be my boyfriend, you'd better be alpha.'" Libertus
It's really a sign of a sick society when people pay attention to what actors say on TV instead of reading up on philosophy.
Wuzzums
A rich unmarried, childless, young girl telling people how to run their businesses, raise their kids and act in their marriages... BRB, going out to find a hobo to give me some advice on investment strategies.
PatrickC
Yes, she's like the Laci Green of the UN.. Full of words, not much on experience.
fractional slacker
Now that Angelina Jolie is becoming a shell of former herself (rim shot), Emma Watson is interviewing to take her place as the next socialism babe.I had to look her up. I guess she was in some Harry Potter movie at some point. I could only make it half way through the video. It made me want to gouge my ear drums with an ice pick. Her self righteous indignation tone reminds me of a Monty Python skit but with all the appeal of a what Tom Leykis would call a shrill, shrieking, dried up harpie. Her speech with a theme of men need to do more dishes appears to be the same non sense Sheryl Sandberg is touting with the Lean In campaign. iHuman
one thing i've found most ironic is how she once went on a verbal tirade about "The Sexualization of Women" then recently was photographed with Prince Harry dressed worse than some prostitutes...
MysterionMuffles
She should have also said, "mothers, have you treated your little boys so model gender, age, and relational equality?" All I hear is "I'm awesome, this many people loved my first speech and this is how much more noteriety it's gotten. Oh and here's some things you can do for gender equality...but not sufficient enough to be actionable."
A Madman Person Guy
one thing i've found most ironic is how she once went on a verbal tirade about "The Sexualization of Women" then recently was photographed with Prince Harry dressed worse than some prostitutes... The comprehension of hypocrisy and irony both place similar standards of self-scrutiny and multi-step logic on the individual. These can only be sidelined by sheer stupidity or truly mindblowing levels of cognitive dissonance and selectivity. She should have also said, "mothers, have you treated your little boys so model gender, age, and relational equality?" All I hear is "I'm awesome, this many people loved my first speech and this is how much more noteriety it's gotten. Oh and here's some things you can do for gender equality...but not sufficient enough to be actionable." I don't even hear that. What I hear is; "Regurgitated ideas of unearned entitlement, myyep myyep myyeeeeeep!".

stMarkus
A spouting rant of self-righteous exclamation. I.e. the usual feminist codswallop.
AncapFTW
Emma Watson: Plays a strong female character that it at least the equal of the men around her, then demands that men "white knight" the women in their lives. Here's an idea, treat people as equals, not as something you need to help because it can't make it on its own. #equality
Better Future
Hopefully someone will let her know that she is talking nonsense. Unfortunately her brain structure is probably such that she would not take such correction seriously.

J. D. Stembal
but...she's...pretty...feel...compelled...to...agree... The eggs still look fresh, but then why is she wearing three layers of war paint? No mortal man is going to pursue her for her beauty. In this video, she strikes me as a bit older than her 25 years, perhaps 28-30. I don't know if it is because her face is primped up for the interview or in spite of it. Maybe it is her demeanor, and not her appearance. A whole hour...? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhh! robmcmullan
When she speaks its pretty clear to me that she is very young and doesn't really have any deep understanding of the issues she talks about… she doesn't come across to me as having any real life experience or wisdom, she doesn't even sound overly articulate. But she does have a pleading victim voice, and is young and pretty. So a pleading young, pretty woman, asking for men to save women… is presented as the face of gender equality…. fucking yaawwwwnnnnnn.
