I am not sure that it is time to abandon the against me argument, which is what you would have to do if you want to pander to the masses about voluntaryism without judgement. Also, why do so many libertarians and voluntaryists invoke George Orwell? He's talking/giving speeches/trying to move the needle and not just posting on message boards(like me). I'm sure he's flawed somewhere but that type of nitpicking can sound a little "cunty" to people on the fence. Hating on what he's doing kind of feels like the church separating into a million different denominations. It's an argument I've always used against religion. You can't even agree within your own irrationally so it looks silly from the outside. I'm not convinced about NVC myself, as it can lead to a kind of moral relativism imo. But that said, it's infinitely better than the political activism that so many libertarian/anarchists engage in. Neither one of those ideas are a threat to TPTB in my opinion. I felt the same way. Kokesh is a "shallow" libertarian in that he doesn't push the boundaries of philosophy and self knowledge much further than arbitrary law. I was with him until he got to how he points out that the state emotionally manipulates people (which is true) yet the whole point to he new enlightened approach is to sway people with your happy, joyful emotions.
