Spider Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Was sifting through the Internet, and came across this article. Thought of you guys and how much you'd enjoy it. http://rare.us/story/texas-town-sees-crime-drop-by-almost-two-thirds-after-firing-police-hiring-private-security/ It is my sincere hope that more towns start doing this. Any thoughts guys n gals? Besides you know, "DUH!"

J. D. Stembal Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Which story is true? Is this a white-wash? It seems to me that, philosophically, private police would be less aggressive and cost less. I'm sure if there were any empirical data proving that public servants are less competent or less effective then there would be a lot of political pressure to squelch this information.
