MysterionMuffles
Is this a new holiday? What do you guys think of it? It's the first I've heard of it.
Anuojat
Evidently it along with mens day has been around for a while. Even here in finland along with mother and fathers day. Yay? Equality... ho?

Alice Amell
Who wants to bet there will be nothing special on international men's day? (we can only hope)
Crallask
This whole thing seems obtuse to me. Women's Day? Men's day? Almost everything is one or the other EVERY day. And if you need a whole day to be dedicated to people with a base biological difference from you, then the idea of having a day is insulting in of itself. You'd be the type of person that has 0 regard for others to not think about them the entire rest of the year.

J. D. Stembal
Wait....men's day is a thing? Yeah, since 1992. Myself and others were tweeting about circumcision and the physical and financial rape of men last November, and getting reamed by feminists and their toadies who thought the notion was bigoted or absurd. This was around the same time that feminist bloggers were calling for censorship of men's groups on Twitter because of *offensive*. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/why-everyone-tweeting-november-19th-161226147.html#tM4lTFG
J-William
Is this a new holiday? What do you guys think of it? It's the first I've heard of it. Yeah it's been a thing ever since the soviets decided it should be an official holiday. It existed as a socialist thing previous to the Russian revolution, but the soviets made it an official holiday and other communist governments followed suit. I first heard of it after moving to China, so was no surprise to me that it was a communist thing.

I'm honestly surprised that it was able to pass whatever kind of committee or whatever that decides these things, with the way most people feel about this topic. Tservitive
When everything is special, nothing is. Spot on, and not just because it was the most memorable quote by the villain in The Incredibles. I'm not sure how the rest of you celebrated international woman's day, but I celebrated by eating a whole Ghost Chili Pepper with some friends. We figured that doing this was as related to international Women's day as both International Woman's and Man's Days have on the quality of our lives. Aye, the only attention I give to these non-events is dutifully laughing when Adam rattles them off for immediate ridicule on the No Agenda show. Crallask
It's just strange to me. I guarantee you - I already have several women I think about everyday. That aside - where is human's day? Or Life day? or "Regretfully Ate Too Much Spicy Food" day?
Tservitive
That aside - where is human's day? Or Life day? or "Regretfully Ate Too Much Spicy Food" day? I don't think we should limit "Regretfully Ate Too Much Spicy Food" to a day. It's got to be a month or at least a long weekend!
PatrickC
There was me thinking they'd gotten it muddled up with V day.. As in V-jayjay day..
Matt.prince19
I don't think we should limit "Regretfully Ate Too Much Spicy Food" to a day. It's got to be a month or at least a long weekend! I celebrate that 2-3 days a week! No way I could limit that only to one week or month of the year. Lol
