MysterionMuffles
It's less than an hour and a half, but so much happens within that time frame. Two estranged siblings and their neighbour find a building that transports them through parallel universes. Each universe has a different human history, levels of civilizations, and the only things that remain the same are the date, time, and the building, even in an apocolyptic alternate reality. I found this movie to be an enjoyable noodle scratcher as it piques your curiosity from start to finish. This is actually one of the first few plot based movies I've enjoyed, possibly because there's enough emotional depth amongst the characters and their minor, but sufficient backstories. Great dialogue, great mix between serious suspense and comedic relief, and overall one of the coolest concepts I've come across since In Your Eyes. I really hope this turns into a trilogy, there's just so much going for it. This was recently added to Netflix and I usually browse for 20 mins before I make up my mind, but this grabbed my attention immediately. Hope it does for you too!
