DCLugi Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 First, remove the religion and politics. From here I see it as individual businesses deciding who they want to sell to. If I could afford to I would open a gay only one stop shop and compete it the market.
AynRand Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I believe the goal is to make the highest overall profit, so do you believe that you will attract more business then you will lose by opening a gay only shop?
fractional slacker Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Religion vs the state. Gee, I wonder which one will win.I live in Oregon where not baking a cake is crime punishable by taking all your stuff, because egalitarianism/altruism. Indiana has passed a law saying not baking a cake is okay. For that the lefties are losing their minds. How about a law that makes not dating someone a crime of sexual assault. Sounds reasonable /sarc. As to the OP, removing religion and politics you have freedom of association. Open a gay unicorn bar for all I care.

Wait, oh thats right they are insane.
tasmlab Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Instead of the law saying religious preferences are somehow special, I would've preferred if they used a free association argument, allowing for discrimination for any preference or criteria.
labmath2 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I never understood why conservatives choose to represent their ideas the way they do. Instead of making the case for free association, they instead say religious freedom. Its obvious atheist statists will loose their minds over religious freedom. I imagine no one will oppose free association.
