Crallask Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Hello, Hello - dear FDR members. Some of you may remember that none too long ago we had a bi-weekly skype meetup for not only discussing important personal issues in place of the retracted live shows but also making various phallic jokes. I feel there was an overwhelmingly positive response to that buuuut that it feel just short of retaining interesting. Personally, I'd like to rekindle that fire for we did have some truly unique and meaningful discussions wherein we surpassed some of the confines of Stef's own show. For all interested in such a proposal, I'd like to know how the community favors the idea of setting up a custom mumble server with various chat rooms devoted to different topics which anyone could access whenever they found favorable vs restarting the old Skype group. While I've used skype the most and it's clearly the most popular VOIP software out there, the way the software is set up is more constrictive in terms of time and therefore accessibility on a day to day basis. So what say you, FDR community members. Have you any interest in seeing such a platform rebuilt? 2
Freedom4TheVirtuous Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 You lost me with the tech stuff at the end. But it sounds pleasing. If it were out right now I'd probably check it out if you made it accessible on a cell phone? Good luck. Also, I don't want to provide false hope because the value is indicative of the quality of the chats, right? I heard about FDR T-shirts three or four years ago and agreed I'd buy one if they were made but sort of just said that in the moment. If you take the time to build an application - if that's what you're doing? I would not rely on survey results necessarily. There will be a lot of trolls and idiots if anybody can download and join - stifling Good conversation perhaps. Anyways, I'm just speaking what's on my mind. Take care.
