Also apparently an icon of feminism in the arts. Well, the fact that she's a puppet of a man that fakes her voice and mannerisms for the sake of parody and comedy is even more of a farce... But she has always been portrayed as a strong female who charms as much as bullies to always get her way (or her man), and shows when something is "too much" in a light-hearted way.

Hah that's funny I didn't think of that. But I wouldn't exactly characterize someone who is clearly insecure and abusive as "strong".

Koroviev Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 How about entirely obsessed with a man/frog who doesn't really like her but always comes to her rescue whenever she gets into a situation she doesn't feel like handling herself. Also, does the fact that Mrs. Piggy doesn't really have any redeeming qualities say something about...well at least about the feminism award.
