Aether Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby is a tv show based around Mr Gormsby who is the relief teacher for a bunch of rowdy Maori kids who recently made their previously past relief teachers storm out before the day even ended. Mr Gormsby uses old fashioned and non pc ways to guide the boys to do the best they can do. This really highlights also how as Christania Hoff Sommers says “Boys are treated like defective girls" in schools and that they are punished for that, Mr Gormsby however understands this is not the way boys learn and instead of punishing them he nudges them in the right direction which i think should actually be applied in schools. So if you want a funny show full of non pc jokes and a mockery of the public school system, seven periods with Mr Gormsby is the show for you.
