RCali Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 That's a lot of porn to keep track of. Must be for a great reason. When have governments done anything not for the good of the people? 1
st434u Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Talk about big brother... And this is even worse because at least Big Brother had to pay for it's own surveillance through regular taxes (which is bad enough), here they're forcing ISP companies to pay for the spying and storage thereof, to be served on request to big brother, or else...
dsayers Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Talk about big brother... And who in turn pays for that extra effort and capital? All of us! They're protecting us already.
ResidingOnEarth Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 If you're in the UK you can help fight this by supporting only the ISPs that are vocally opposed to this and are willing to fight it. Whatever businesses you buy from, you are supporting. Give your support to only those businesses and people that you want to empower. One UK ISP that I recommend is: http://aa.net.uk/ The are explicitly against the snoopers charter and invest time and money into protecting their customers from it and other similar legislation.
