A philosophical review of the movie 'Carol'?

I went to see 'Carol' yesterday and, in my opinion, it's the best film of the year so far and a serious Oscar contender for the best movie, leading actress, costumes, actress in second role. At least.

 

I am writing because I would love to hear a philosophical review of the film from Stefan.
