jamcity Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 The article sure is a doozy. I wish I could provide some more insightful commentaryhttp://www.weeklystandard.com/growing-old-without-growing-up/article/2000379
AccuTron Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I grew old trying to read it, gave up partway; sympathy for the journalist who had to actually go there. I can see why the bourbon was helpful.
jason_ Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I grew old trying to read it, gave up partway; sympathy for the journalist who had to actually go there. I can see why the bourbon was helpful. I second that! I think is was Cicero who said "those who know no history, are forever like children," and I've definitely observed a tendency in people around me not to mature. I don't think the kidults the author is reporting on are hurting anyone, except maybe themselves, and this sort of fuckery should be easy to ovoid. The worry is this type of thing showing up in schools and universities and "taught" and accepted by unwitting students of all ages.
