Fudo Manu Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Searching Google didn't help much, most responses criticized the IQ as not valid for much other than "feeding one's ego". The others suggested some online tests that require a fee, I've taken one of those, the Stanford Binet and scored 128. Mensa was suggested. I'm looking to take one in person that will be recognized as authoritative. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
shnugwa Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Commonly, you can request one through a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Calling offices would be a good place to start.

When I was getting tested for 'disabilities' because dyslexia is pretty common in my family on my dad's side, I got an IQ test. In fact, the whole test was just an IQ test and all they do is compare how you did in each section and if there's one section that is much lower in comparison to the other sections, they say you have a disability.
