I wanted to celebrate all women in this community who are making advancements in self-knowledge, try to bring peaceful parenting to their family and world around them.

It's a rough ride and it's going to become even rougher, but I hope for a safe journey for all of you, ladies, to the place and day you are learning and working for so hard to achieve. I hope that you will always have someone by your side in the dark moments to split the hardship and in the brightest to multiply the happiness.

Happy women's day! You and your effort are, of course, very appreciated! ^_^

I guess Scottish laddies can celebrate too, especially the ones with skirts!!!

Who decided? I wonder when international men's day is. Why not just treat every day as if it's international human's day? Oh, because that would diminish State power, not grow it.

If every thing is then nothing is! It just a day to remember and I thought it would good idea to notice this day and celebrate it, although it's not a reason for any thing.

People are congratulating Hillary this day over her progressiveness and achievements. While women who are fighting for knowledge and reason, some times against themselves, are used as shields, or are marginalized and unknown. I think it is plain unjust that some body so vile is receiving praise and is celebrated, while true virtue is forgotten in the shadows? Never!

A positive, masculine trait is supposed to be our propensity to refrain from whining so much. Another is that we should want to give our women the world. Just because an event is mainstream doesn't mean it's bad.

A lot of Stefan's ideology bashes single mothers, but not a lot of blame is put on the fathers who have left their children. I think fathers are equally responsible for children. A single parent home is absolutely destructive for a child, but I think too much stress is placed on the argument that "she should not have had sex with that guy" and more should be placed on "he should not have left his child". The responsibility is 50/50.

Happy women's day, you beautiful creatures.

Using the word whining is poisoning the well. Also, how much is so much? How is it fundamentally different from so much minus one?

I don't think I have a world to give. I don't think I can do things "as men (plural)". Also, what's wrong with sharing?

I can't speak for others, but I would say it's "bad" because it's exclusionary. The opposite of progress.

Stating a fact is not an ideology, facts do not belong to individuals, and is not "bashing" somebody.

Nobody's ever said that men aren't also responsible for their actions. Your entire post is dishonest. Have you figured out who from your past would benefit from you being dishonest in this way/place?

It was also national pancake day at IHOP, which is obviously not a coincidence and is actually the patriarchy telling women to "get back in the kitchen".
