On Feb. 9, Yusra Khogali, Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto tweeted:

"Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz,"

The tweet has since been deleted, and preceded the two-week protest outside of Toronto Police Headquarters in March.

The tweet was discovered early this month, and while the vitriol did flow immediately in the Twittersphere, the past few days have been largely quiet.

I pondered - had a white male, involved with (white) men's rights, posted the following,

"Plz God give me the strength to no cuss/klll these women and black folks out here today.  Plz plz plz"

I fear it would be his ultimate and final undoing.

Such is the method of revealing bias in tolerance for unethical behavior towards particular groups of people, I find myself having to use this same method on a daily basis when having to endure the words of the government education system.

Personally I find it terribly frustrating having to hear such vile statements thrown towards white men from people who advocate "tolerance"... although a more politically correct term would be "acceptance".

I've made efforts to speak up against this mindset but I've only witnessed conflict in response, these people cannot listen to reason.

From her response:

During Black History Month, I was bombarded by tweets from white men asking me to prove that racism, Islamophobia and misogyny exist. Why should I have to prove the existence of the forces that torment me and members of my community to people who don’t believe they exist and, worse, who perpetuate them? And so two months ago I tweeted, “Plz Allah give me strength not to cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today.” I put my rage and trauma into words, not action, not threat. Faced with hate, I sought restraint from god and support from my online community.

They asked her to prove racism/sexism exist and she succeeded.
