ThomasTheIdealist Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Nice work. And nice Death Note reference. The topic aside, on a general note, I enjoy how videos such as yours provide visual stimulus. For me it actually helps keep my attention as opposed to just audio or a video of Larken Rose speaking lol, and it doesn't distract from the video's message. I find that my mind wanders without the additional stimulus of some kind, then I often stop mid-way to do something else. 1
Matt D Posted May 9, 2016 Author Posted May 9, 2016 Thanks Thomas, You and the ADD community love me. Death Note is a masterpiece of intellectual entertainment. One thing I respect about anime is that it isn't afraid to tackle moral issues head on. Nice work. And nice Death Note reference. dsayers Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Good stuff. There was one element that was left to implication that I think should be explicated. Stef has pointed out that State violence primarily manifests in "slave on slave" violence. Yes, the State will on occasion descend on the Ed and Elaine Browns of the world. In the meantime, it's the other slaves that point to these instances and/or scare others and/or comply out of this same fear that help to perpetuate the myth despite the huge power disparity the slaves have OVER the so-called rulers. I point this out because there are people that can see through the myth, but still act to the contrary out of fear of what their peers and family will do to them for disagreeing.
