Etwa Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 If you are like me, you have run into problems enjoying sitcoms and movies. Since most of them carry message man bad woman good etc. But with Last man standing, the man actually knows how to fix things, he has very successful career, he is cunning, highly competitive, negotiator ... well something I am not used in 1 person with balls. This is the only show that I remember, where I have seen a conflict between husband and wife, ending with husband winning and his wife apologizing. Or even better husband finds 3rd solution that is win win for both parties. I love Mike Baxter and his ability to turn situations into win win. I don't remember having that feeling in 1st and 2nd season, or maybe I was not as observant back then. I really recommend this sitcom to you, and if anyone else is watching, add something I missed or forgot to mention. PS. It's a sitcom it's suppose to be goofy and funny. Etwa
ValueOfBrevity Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I really enjoy this show, even though I am constantly yelling at the TV about certain characters stupidity. The wife and daughters are intentionally written to take the illogical positions. Mike's wife disagrees with him on such fundamental topics that I don't know why they are together at all.
