john cena Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 http://www.businessinsider.com/peta-behind-the-leather-fake-pop-up-store-animal-cruelty-2016-5 As part of a gruesome campaign called "Behind the Leather," PETA Asia teamed up with global advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather to create a fake pop-up leather goods store in one of Bangkok's trendiest malls. But inside the leather was shockingly realistic animal carnage to protest cruelty in the leather industry. *See videoWhy is nobody going to this much effort for a legitimate cause, like fake dead bodies and gore when you go to the voting booth? Are we philosophers just too selfish? 3
dsayers Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Why is nobody going to this much effort for a legitimate cause, like fake dead bodies and gore when you go to the voting booth? Are we philosophers just too selfish? I like what you did here I think it would be a little more effective if you outlined what you've done to set the example for others.
Lars Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Those humanity-averse PETA dipshits don't deserve any publicity.Passion and logic have yet to reunite within mainstream discourse. It is understandably daunting to speak up nowadays, though we would have appreciated more passionate defenders of reason fighting back against moral relativism in the past, and we're all living in the past of the future.
Mister Mister Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 It's a good point. How much money and expertise were put into this campaign?
