I live about 4km from the shooting site. I was doing my daily 'fitness course', which leads me pretty close to the recent shooting site. Halfway through it and about 1.5km from the attack site, I started hearing police and ambulance sirens incoming. It was an unbroken chain of sirens. After the 10th or so siren swelling in a row, I deducted that there must be a sort of terrorist attack somewhere pretty close to my location. It was a very unusual pattern, hence my deduction. I thought hard about what route to take back home and found a safe route through a local park. I sharply observed the people I encountered. After 25 minutes, I arrived at my home. The sirens were still incoming and police and ambulance speeding past the main street where I live.

What surprised me were the people in my surroundings. A *lot* of them had certainly been hearing the sirens incoming for 10 to 15 minutes in a row, but didn't seem to notice anything unusual about that. It showed on their facial expressions and behavior. Amazing. I guess Pokémon Go is more important than recognizing potential death flags.

Back home, I started researching and watching internet streams about what was happening. It quickly became apparent that most media had ZERO information available and immediately spun all sorts of delusional stories. I estimate that more than 90% of all media embarassed themselves and disqualified themselves that day. For instance, they immediately jumped to the conclusion that this was an islamist attack. The data at that point in time did not warrant such conclusion. I have a swedish buddy and we chatted while the events were unfolding. He told me that the swedish media had no "fucking clue" about the geography and localities of Munich at all and were just putting out headlines like "15 killed" etc. It was aggravating.

On an unfocused snapshot of the suspect, it seemed to be a young man of Middle Eastern descent to me. But the photo was just too unfocused. So I did not jump to conclusions. I refuse to jump to conclusions. I want reliable data.

The Munich police did an excellent job, informing the public of the ongoing events every few minutes and in German, English and French. It seems that there were a couple police in civil dress walking around with drawn weapons in some locations, so pedestrians assumed them to be criminals, which complicated the situation and diverted police force to unrelated sites. A whole number of copycats apparently sent out fake emergency calls claiming gunshots fired at several locations, which diluted the police force.

Later that evening, when I went to bed, I noticed a police chopper approaching my area. It came to stop directly above my block and hung there for about 10 minutes. As it turned out, the killer had lived pretty close to my area. How 'nice', I thought. Then I said "Screw this" and went to bed.

Next morning, I was surprised to hear that after not even 24 hours, the police seemed to present a sort of final report. I just thought "Seriously?". After the Würzburg attack with axe and knife, it was good to see that the Minister of the Interior simply presented the raw facts. For now, I don't have any reason to assume that there is a covering up going on. The whole situation is believable as a rampage of a psychotic damaged youth. Many media outlets have embarrassed themselves for life, which is a good thing.

Frankly, I expect the upcoming Oktoberfest to become a disaster. 10'000s of people stuffed together and police that are inexperienced in terrorist attacks and screening. They seriously are talking about screening every single visitor to Oktoberfest this year at the entrances. That's delusional. I think it was a grave mistake publicising the blueprints of how the city intends to implement the 'wall' around the location in newspapers (!). This walled area might easily turn into a cage for visitors being slaughtered by professional killers. I hope that nothing happens.

The media calls the offender David and not Ali.

Government and media calls it kind of a general society guilt because of the bullying.

Puts again focus on legally owned firearms in Germany, after the EU gunlaw did not pass

as wanted.

Kind of the typical pattern.

David is actually the 'germanized' version of his real name, as I read.

But yes, it is misleading to conveniently use a German-sounding name out of a pair of first names. I find this insulting to the intelligence of the average person. Even more insulting is the attempt to let the 18-year old attacker appear as a 3-year old with no responsibility or agency and to divert the attention to some random indescript general societal guilt. His parents obviously didn't give the smallest f**k about their son's well-being and what he was doing.

Putting pressure on firearms owners in Germany is like yelling at a quadriplegic that he should get on his feet and run faster. I just watched a german interview with a politician who actually said that there was a need to look into legislation to prevent illegal firearms possession in Germany. I just thought: "Are you fucking retarded?". I think there is a diconnect in his little brain about the fact that criminals don't give a damn about laws anyways. It will only make it even more oppressive for upright citizens to acquire self-defense weaponry.

Just wait and see if there is a giant massacre during the Oktoberfest timeframe in Munich. People, especially the Bavarians, won't stand for this. I know the Bavarians. I was born one and I know that Bavaria is one of the federal states of Germany that has some self-preservation instincts left.

After a long time of observing the MSM output and comparing different info sources for any given subject, I think that the MSM have been transformed from more or less reliable information sources into almost pure propaganda tools. Consider the following: Angela Merkel is bosom pals with Friede Springer (MSM mogul) and Liz Mohn (Bertelsmann owner). Together, they're implementing a strategy to heavily bias all publications and to enforce 'political correctness' (= tyranny of the political class) in Germany (and possibly, via proxy, anywhere else).

Also consider, that Angela Merkel was socialised and indoctrinated in a communist dictatorship (Eastern Germany) and apparently occupied a position as FDJ-secretary for Agitation and Propaganda therein. So.. in case you're wondering why Merkel behaves and argues the way she does, just consider these disturbing facts.

Also, Joachim Gauck (the Federal President of Germany) was the boss of the "Gauck Agency" , which was responsible for performing research and discovery into the STASI dossiers that were available about any Eastern Germany citizen at that time. There is a theory that Merkel wanted to have Gauck as Federal President and influential person to help her sit tight on her own STASI dossier. She refuses to this very day to publicize her STASI dossier. I wonder why.. does she have to hide some ugly past as IM (Inoffizieller Mitarbeiter) ? Time will (maybe) tell. When Merkel was elected German Chancellor, the Germans had the choice between the Plague and Typhus, and chose Ebola which eats the victim from within. That's exactly what's happening now.

Luckily, there is in theory a small chance for Bavaria (a so-called Free State) to split off from Germany. Bavaria is one of the few power houses of Germany. We can live on our own and in economic alliances very well. Bavaria is forced to transfer billions upon billions of Euros to many underperfoming and loser states like Berlin (the federal state). I say screw them. We're not sacrificing our economic and societal health and future for this BS ideology. Never underestimate the Bavarians :-) .
