jpahmad Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 This is my solution to the "racism" problem in the police force. It's quite surprising. I have not heard any one else make this suggestion in public. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAV1y9zdTv4 1
Mister Mister Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Good video. It's very relevant because one of the things that these events seem to be leading to is a Nationalization of the police force: Hillary has pledged to put $1 billion into "retraining" the police, which is obviously the next step.
jpahmad Posted July 29, 2016 Author Posted July 29, 2016 Are you serious. $1 billion? I wonder what her definition of "retraining" is? Let me guess, "cultural sensitivity"?
shirgall Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Are you serious. $1 billion? I wonder what her definition of "retraining" is? Let me guess, "cultural sensitivity"? You know that $1B will go to the Police Unions, somehow, since they are modern equivalent of guilds, and those same unions will support the Democrats.

Just wondering, do you have a video link to her talking about it? I want to send it to my buddy
whirlingmerc Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I like 'gracism' showing mercy and grace to others There are unfortunate cases where police make bad choices and unfortunate cases where protestors express there opinions in unwise ways but all lives matter.... blue lives... black lives... all lives... all were made in the image of God and should be respected
jpahmad Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 but all lives matter.... blue lives... black lives... all lives... I can think of some lives that don't matter.
shirgall Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Just wondering, do you have a video link to her talking about it? I want to send it to my buddy The money quote is this: "I will bring law enforcement and communities together to develop national guidelines on the use of force by police officers. We'll make it clear when deadly force is warranted, and when it isn't. And we'll emphasize proven methods for de-escalating situations before we reach that point," she said. "Second, let's acknowledge that implicit bias still exists across society and even in the best police departments. We have to tackle it together. So in my first budget, I will commit $1 billion to find and fund the best training programs, support new research and make this a national policing priority." http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/08/politics/hillary-clinton-joe-biden/ http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Hillary_Clinton_Crime.htmway down the page she talks about the COPS program and heer efforts to reinstate it when she was Senator. It is likely to be a model she would follow again and it was definitely a pork project more than an effective one. USA Today has a decent summary of criticisms here: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-04-10-cops-cover_x.htm https://shadowproof.com/2016/04/14/clinton-wrong-mass-incarceration-known-problem-just-decade/has more recent comments and criticisms. Remember it was Bill that started the sale of military vehicles and equipment to police forces, buoyed by $10B from the COPS program.
