Jhackler Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I was relieved to see Trump was elected. All attempts to interfere with this have failed miserably so far. However, I now see that many republican electors are considering not awarding their state's votes to Trump. The media claims that they are already over halfway to the required number for this happens. While I distrust the media in general this possibility worries me. Does anyone here know how likely this is, or if it is even true?
villagewisdom Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I heard 40 total. Of these 1 republican and 39 dems. The dem electors were already committed to Hillary as far as I know. It's smoke and mirrors IMO. Similar to polls telling you over and over that Trump was behind designed to make you doubt.
Wuzzums Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 They ARE going to overthrow this election. The MSM predicted a 98% chance of this happening.
Jhackler Posted December 16, 2016 Author Posted December 16, 2016 lol. I think if this happened I would be trying very hard to get a british citizenship.
SirrusDundle Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 I'm not necessarily a Trump supporter, but this is all so jive and transparent.
Will Torbald Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 lol. I think if this happened I would be trying very hard to get a british citizenship. It's funny how you would want to escape to a muslim country if Trump is sabotaged. Kinda defeats the point. 1
Jhackler Posted December 19, 2016 Author Posted December 19, 2016 It's funny how you would want to escape to a muslim country if Trump is sabotaged. Kinda defeats the point. Can you present any evidence they are a muslim country? They recently leave the EU in part to regain control over their own borders and likely turn back regulations. If the US gets more of the same it may very well not survive. When it comes to western english speaking countries there are few showing signs they are reversing direction being one of them. that said in both cases there is an uphill battle. I will likely stay.I would want to be prepared with the ability to flee if needed however.
Lawrence Edwards Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Trump wins, many more electors refuse to vote for Hilary than Trump.
Jhackler Posted December 22, 2016 Author Posted December 22, 2016 I think this is going to be an interesting years, lots of weeping and gnashing of teeth for liberals. Then hopefully they will notice everything is actually better and move on.

I hope so, but my experience is that the vast majority of liberals are poorly educated, have not read any philosophy or history and just believe what the MSM pushes. It will be a very tough battle to win.

It will be a very tough battle to win. Yeah I can certainly understand and I have heard that a lot. It will definitely be an uphill battle. I am, however, very hopeful in regards to the possibility of redemption. (Or at least for some.) My general experience has been that, with enough patience, I have been able to persuade and redirect most liberals I have spoken too. While part of it is my linguistic skills and ability to comfort or defuse emotional roadblocks, I would wager to guess the that the larger part has to do with my sub conscience picking up on signs given off by those I can influence. In other words I am likely being selective. Either way many of these people have been ones others had found to frustrating to deal with.
