Diego1751 Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 I have been convinced for quite some time that I want to help the fight for Truth and Western Civilization. I already donate monthly and work on self knowledge for several hours a week. I have already been having conversations with everyone around me even including strangers. (I work temporarily overnights as cashier currently far far below my potential but talk to everyone I can and manage to get some Socratic dialogue and good plugs in for yourself, JB Peterson, No Agenda show and others) When the "what do I do" show came out I was excited because I have been racking my brain for months trying to figure out specifically what I can bring to the table. However, I believe I am already covering these bases. Is it possible I am overlooking something? After the charity baseball Shooting I am motivated to act ASAP, And Listening to your latest call in show with the Swedish nihilist prompted this question: How do I find my niche and figure out what I can bring to the table? I'm not sure of anything to say that isn't already being said. I know that I have a lot of untapped potential but I have no idea where to focus it. Edit: I want to focus my efforts on saving the future, I just don't know how to figure out what's needed of me. Stefan and others are doing a great job covering important issues and I don't know what else I could add that wouldn't just be extra noise
meetjoeblack Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Throw enough shit at the wall and see what sticks. I found an absurd amount of books/programs/content online or in the library. I am working on staking my claim in the free market but, it is very scary and its not what I was taught. I was taught to get a good job and education. Now a days, good jobs are few and far between. Education is a joke especially formal gov edu. What are you passionate about and what could you monopolize? I am looking at several business ventures. Ideally, self employed and working casually as a employee in the long run. I want real estate, I want property, land, and businesses. My business venture is aimed at being self employed. Generating leads and prospects. Its all very scary and exciting but, I don't need to quit my day job. I just need to out earn that so, I cane pull away from it long time. My advice (take it for what its worth), get into the lane you know, are passionate about, and don't look back. Got that from Gary Vee. As for jobs, I am only taking one work whereby, its something I can 1) further strengthen the skills I already have 2) acquire even more skills 3) build a foundations/platform where, I know that business, and can venture on my own. I am learning SMM and SEO. Look into mastermind groups in your city. If you got friends into poker/ecom/SMM/SEO/ you can learn quite a bit. 1
Diego1751 Posted June 18, 2017 Author Posted June 18, 2017 I'm only 20, I already stopped going to higher education, despite advice from my professor parental figures. I understand everything you're saying and agree, getting some real estate and using rent from Tennant's to cover my living costs is the plan, and finding a wife is in the plan. But I have no idea how to translate those vague guidelines into something tangible. I feel paralyzed staring down the Leviathan figuring out what I can do with my life, I have so many directions to go in and I have no experience making these kinds of decisions and I don't know how to break it down into smaller manageable problems any more than I have, I have all my bases covered in terms of immediate needs (I could work out more...) but I figured out Jordan Petersons clean your room strategy out many years before I figured out philosophy so all the problems that manifest themselves to me I solve like an engineer Because I do have some training in that and I've always been well versed on the technical side but other than "Society is broken fix it" I don't know what else I can improve on I have all the bases I can think of covered, I could probably do more to protect myself from a bail-in in the event of an economic downturn, I already have about 10% of my money in the goldmoney peer to peer digital currency backed by gold service Peter Schiff promotes 5% in cash in a safe place and good amount in the bank account as a result of not blowing it in school. So I am set up to make investments but I have no experience and don't want to waste it. I'm not so much worried about being able to provide for myself as I want to figure out how to help make the future a place that's even worth visiting

So I am set up to make investments but I have no experience and don't want to waste it. I'm not so much worried about being able to provide for myself as I want to figure out how to help make the future a place that's even worth visiting I came from a shitty situation where I lost family (dad/sis) in a tragic accident which really fucked me up for sometime. I've been negative and cynical of gov edu but, there is still good content out there but, you must 1) pick something professional (doctor/lawyer/trades/dentist etc) with a end game in mind here 2) Have a general idea of that market as well as the needs there 3) learn about that field firsthand before forking out the resources for edu to begin with 4) unless you have resources for post secondary edu pertaining to a profession; DON'T BOTHER (you cannot declare bankruptcy on a student loan in America). A wife costs money as do children. Many a times or so has been my experience; a lot of women are liberal, are very sexually promiscuous, have children out of wedlock, and lunatic-like student loans in absurd career paths like social science/liberal arts/women's studies. You are then tired to this madness that is a liberal woman or worse, feminist. Search tinder or pof in your area; bios read "Proud single mom." This is what awaits you and my friend, it only gets worse with age (particularly women more your own age with baggage). A reason why, I would date women more your age then mine lol Look into that Authoring Suite if you are lost. I am sure it could help you work things out. It sucks that the future suite was offered free last Xmas and I missed it. Its worth its price and then some IMHO. The reviews are great for it. It helps you organize your thoughts and plan for a better future. You write things out based upon different points in your life, you make sense with it, and reverse engineer a strategy to have the sort of dream life you want. This is a highly educated man and a piece of edu worthy of doing. Like you, I am still figuring it out, and I know, being self employed will bring other difficulties for me too that I have not planned for. Look at being a 10% entrepreneur. You don't have to cannon ball in. You can have a day job and start a venture on the side. If that takes off, you can scale up, and limit your time with your day job. Just refrain from liberal arts or a major in social science. Do something practical like business/financing/accounting etc. A buddy of mine is a tradesman. He studied accounting. He knew very early he wont work for someone long term and has his own company. He went on a world tour. His guys were hitting the pavement.
Diego1751 Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 Thank you for the advice, and sorry for your lost. I really appreciate and agree with your advice. More so I want to figure out how I can help fight for Western Civilization. I don't see any of these other career paths or starting a family worth it unless I'm doing something to make the future a place I can leave proud for my kids. I can provide for myself, I want to figure out how I can help save the future. The problem is that I don't know of anything that needs to be said that isn't already being said. I'm outgoing and motivated, but I'm more technically minded and I don't know how to apply that to making the future better

Maybe you can create a website with a blog that showcases your thoughts and ideas. You can put affiliate links on it for people to click on and buy something, and you get a commission. Lots of people do this, and as a result, there's a lot of competition. However, if this idea interests you, you can consider it. 1
Jsbrads Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 I'm an engineer. its all I want to do. Spent years looking for work. lost
mgggb Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 What do you spend most of your day doing/thinking about outside of work and sleep? What kind of books do you read for pleasure? Something that helped me figure things out was to make a list of things I think I could be good at/enjoy doing/make some decent coin. Then start planning backwards. For example "I am 40 and just had my last child out of 4, how did I get here?" Working backwards 2 years between each child puts me at 32, another 2 years for courtship with future wife puts me at 30. In the time between 20 and 30 is for training to do something on that list and building traction in your chosen profession. You can start eliminating options based on criteria like how much you want to be involved with raising the children, how important is doing meaningful metaphysical work, the nap, helping others, self-aggrandizement. Those are just some categories I found helpful, ymmv. I would also highly, highly recommend getting a professional iq test and taking a big 5 personality test. The professional iq tests break down into several different categories and you may find your are strong in some and weak in others. Play to your strengths. I found out I was very high in verbal fluency but very low in motor function. Yet before that I was learning to become a programmer, job that requires little verbal skills and higher motor skills... Ideally you want to find something where you can be in the 90 percentile of the occupation so that you are better than almost everyone but still have something to strive for. And another part was imagining where you would be 5, 10, 20 years from now if nothing changes and you give in to all your potential vices. This is not very good advice. College is not expensive if you go to community College first, maximize aid, grants, and scholarships, go to a school in state, and live at home/cheaply off campus. Debt is hardly the worst thing in the world, but it does suck, so make sure it's worth it.

I like everything I have come across from Peterson and so, I am thinking about investing in it. I am watching the biblical series by Peterson. I wish I could go to his events. Its pretty long so, I small chunk it in 15-30min blocks and chip away at it the way I do FDR podcasts. Its awesome because there is so much content out there freely available. I am interested in Self Authoring as I would like to work through some of my past, present, and then, be readily available to prepare for a better future. My buddy recently bought Self Authoring. Unfortunately, the Future authoring was given away freely last Xmas. Check it out. It is a lot of writing but, you can see your own critical thinking or lack there of on paper. Stefan/FDR would highly disagree with you in several of his podcasts including the 43% increase in Student debt, a recent video series he did on the increase in student debt (something like 1trillion + in student debt), the risk as a white male on a college campus, the indoctrination by leftist and feminist jargon, and the ridiculous amount of programs with ZERO jobs.

I don't think Stefan and I are in disagreement, but even if we are, that is still not an argument. I never claimed that college is risk free. My claim is that avoiding college is not an absolute, if you are going to go there are more financially sounds ways to do it, and that debt is not something to be avoided at all costs.
