robert1986 Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Why is it I cannot dream? All I know is nothing but black. I was ran over by a garbage truck and nothing but darkness came over me. No lights. Nothing supernatural. Why can I not dream? When I sleep next to people they don't report me talking. Ever. So it can't be I don't recall. How does trauma relate to not dreaming?
Mole Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Try telling a friend or someone to wake you up one and a half hours earlier than you usually do on a random day like a couple weeks later from when you tell them. This is so you're not expecting to wake up as that might interfere with your REM sleep.
robert1986 Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 I do wake easy when anyone knocks on the door. I only sleep deep when I'm really tired then I don't wake so easy to sounds unless it's loud. I've had people wake me up randomly before . I respond quite quickly
