Chris hart Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 One main difference I see between conservatives and anarchists are their view of the military. All I see in terms of the military is a system of welfare where all of the participants are brainwashed order followers that will do whatever they are told. And while everyone laughs at me, or says i'm insane, I am extremely worried that they will be used against us. Most of them are uneducated and think they have to do what they are told, even if it is wrong. I am extremely scared that we are spending almost all of our money on this when we have no say in what the do. Please give your opinion on how you view the military and where you see it going.
smarterthanone Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I think we should cut the budget in half starting yesterday and withdraw all troops in foreign countries home EXCEPT where the home country asks us to stay. Then we can look into more fine tuning of what to do over the next year to further cut it and change it. As the world exists at this moment, we need a strong government military. Too many people hate us from the past and we have our fingers in too many pies where we might need to do something soon somewhere.
RichardY Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I guess the only country that might be a conventional military challenge is China. Unconventially though, going to take more than a freely armed militia to deal with N.Korea or anyother dictator, armed with bio weapons or nuclear.
