Hi thinkers and alike,

It's been always on my mind, I think it's a very important piece of knowledge.

Enjoy reading about it (infogalactic, better than 'tricky-pedia')

Highlights (some are paraphrasing, others are quotes) :

° No humans or computers can run two tasks parallel, using the same pool of resources but somehow doubling it, while also reaching equal maximum efficiencies (compared to a singular task).

° In the US, it is estimated that $650billion is wasted as a result of multitasking.

° [...] Conversely, a Swedish study found that men actually outperformed women at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, with the performance gap being correlated to the female menstrual cycle. [...]

° People have a limited ability to retain information, which worsens when the amount of information increases.
