FDR Drinking Game

Everyone drinks when

  • Stef mentions "the free market"
  • Stef mentions "the state"
  • Call in show where Stef talks to an unmarried, childless, (usually white) woman approaching the wall
  • Call in show where Stef encourages a (usually white) woman to have (white) kids
  • Call in show where a (white) man is in a relationship with a (white) single mom
  • Stef says "tickety-boo"
  • Stef says "bingo-bango-bongo"
  • Call in show where the caller proposes a statist solution to a social problem and Stef completely and utterly destroys him
  • Presentation show where Stef uses 3 or more distinct voices when reading quotes
  • Call in show where Stef convinces a parent to not spank/hit/beat his kids
  • Stef says "cuckery"

and finally, when Stef mentions "gold prospecting and panning in the Canadian
North", NOBODY DRINKS, because alcohol poisoning is a serious condition.

I'll add a few more:

"It's funny too because ..."

"Sorry to interrupt ..."

"I was an entrepreneur at a software company ... "

"Fruit ninja"

Do you want alcohol poisoning? Because that's how you get alcohol poisoning.

Okay, I'll actually contribute too, take a drink every time Stef:

  • makes a philosophical point using biblical language ("thou shalt not...")
  • facepalms
  • says he was too poor to join the swim team as a kid
  • makes reference to his baldness when talking to another folliclly challenged person
  • references 50 shades of grey

From An Honest Conversation About Marriage, some life lessons learned from gold prospecting and panning:

Quote

there's a drinking game in my show like every time I sigh of course and every time I mentioned that I worked up north gold panning prospecting and flames taking this stuff and the reason but the reason I bring it up it's because it's a very real and valid time you know I like you live a lot in my head and that was a very vivid time of just being out with nature's elements and you can't make any mistakes and there's no amount of ideology that's gonna shift one flake of snow or find you one flake of gold and that kind of reality did a lot I think helped conditioned me to having better relationships cuz when you work with your hands you give up on the idea that manipulation is to be all and end all

Some of the entries in this list are just silly and amusing and some of these are worthy of nomination to sainthood. Consider this call-in show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYmogRO8HzI

  • Stef carefully works the father through an example.
  • Stef is patient. He complements the father (says something about him being an intelligent guy).
  • Demonstrates negotiating with the kid by negotiating with the father about negotiating with the kid. Which is the only sane way to do it.
  • This whole episode is just an amazing display of skill and virtue.
