Hate What You Do
dazed and confused replied to Ray H.'s topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
I did get the impression that the author was coming from the left. however i didnt see "living wage" mentioned even in passing. The article was about the DWYL philosophy and the corporate culture. And he seemed to be on point regarding those two things. -
Hate What You Do
dazed and confused replied to Ray H.'s topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
great article, i dont see what you disagree with. It seems to be the case that even going to a job interview for a job at mcdonalds you need to pretend to be doing it for reasons other than money -
-Humans have a vegetarian digestive system. It's a long digestive system, that isn't very acidic. Its pretty clear to me that humans are omnivores. they are not strict meat eaters nor strict plant eaters. They seem to prefer high quality meat and animal fats but seem to do fine for periods of time on second rate foods. -Animals that are designed to eat meat have short digestive tracts that are very intensely acidic. They want to process it and get it out of their bodies as soon as possible. This is just a guess but you seem like the type of person who would get a cat and then feed it a vegetarian diet. A lot of poor cats have been killed in this way. RIP They also have claws and sharp piercing teeth for hunting. If you think you can catch prey without any tools then be my guest, try chasing after a rabbit and catching it. Try jumping on the back of a horse and biting into it. I don't think you'll have much luck because you aren't evolved for it. You only think that hunting is difficult because you have never done it. And why exactly cant humans use tools for hunting? Yeah when living in a big city you probably have no idea how to catch an animal but for most of human history you couldnt go out without tripping over some animal or another All our closest evolutionary ancestors are vegetarian. Not true at all Animals designed to eat meat salivate when they see corpses. People do everything they can to make their meat not taste like meat by cooking it, spicing it, putting unhealthy processed condiment sauces on it to hide the fact that it's meat. This is a big reason why i was never able to see where vegetarians were coming from and i have stumbled upon quite a few popular veganism books. Describing meat like it is the worst thing they have tasted. Meat has always been a favorite of mine, no spicing or sauces required. It even tastes good raw. How can you so called rational people honestly believe in a diet that was unfeasible before the B12 vitamin pills were invented. Take a look of your own videos, you look emaciated. As do all vegetarians, atleast i can tell that you eat the what you preach so kudos for that. In this age of the internet still beleiving in that junk is highly responsible. Take a look at all the paleo vs vegan debates and you'll see that the vegans dont have a leg to stand on once they get out of their echo chambers. These boards used to be a lot more paleo but ever since stef went vegetarian all the paleo people have either left or been quiet.

using direct force against the state is a terrible idea, there is no way you can win, you will all just get shot. all you"ll get is tanks running through the streets. peaceful parenting wont work either, if 1% on the population is going to be raised by non violence they will still pay taxes and still vote. there is no causation between not getting spanked and being an anarcho capitalism. i dont know what would work but my current thinking is that the best bet would be to get together and start our own small communities. something like the amish have done.- 17 replies

when i think pua the first people that come to mind are mystery and neil strauss. you should just ignore them like you did. fuzzy hats and negs are still a big part of the pickup community.

critical thinking - links and suggestions
dazed and confused replied to Fernando Lasman's topic in General Messages
most sources on critical thinking cover how NOT to think, giving you a list of logical fallacies etc. if you want to learn HOW to think i would suggest "Thinking as a Science" by Henry Hazlitt -

Tips on getting further reach with youtube videos?

i know less about physics than i do about relationships. But Einstein looks like the sort of guy who you would go to if you have a physics problem -
Tips on getting further reach with youtube videos?

i cant distinguish good relationship advice from bad, it all seems plausible to me. All i have to go on is: does this advice seem to be working for the person who is giving it. And you dont look like you are in any sort of relationship, you dont even look like you leave the house often. -
Tips on getting further reach with youtube videos?
dazed and confused replied to LovePrevails's topic in Listener Projects
Ive watched a few of your videos and the accent can be hard to follow at times. The main concern for me though is that the message seems to be bullshit. You give advice on relationships but there is little evidence to show that you know what youre talking about. all i see is a scrawny guy with a weird haircut. with very little evidence to show that you have any sort of good relationships in your life. So maybe you could talk a little bit more from experience if you have any and add some subtitles -
interesting videos but they dont really cover the topic. i just thought of a mathematical way to put this question: fear + desire = ??

Thats probably the book. But aside from the book, i think this is a fascinating topic, is there an epidemic of men being afraid of women and what are the reasons for it.

words bring to mind certain associations, and those associations will be different for everybody. so yes, i think language to a certain degree is subjective.

im very sorry to hear about your cancer. my grandfather died of cancer and my mother had cancer years ago, so i know how serious it is. im curious what your reaction was to reading the comments on the video where you said you had cancer. most of them seemed to be about some miracle treatment, be it hemp oil, vitamin c, burzynsky etc. the story of steve jobs must be on your mind, the man who got sick and decided to use alternative medicine instead of going to the doctors and how he could have saved himself if he had gone the traditional route straight away. i got the impression that youve just decided to ignore the idea of alternative medicne alltogether. i dont think youve brought it up once. i dont know how much research youve done if any. but im really baffled by you of all people having more faith in establishment doctors than you have of establishment economists. you must be familiar with the bloody history of medicine, you just think modern medicine is different, they removed their worst excesses but the same rotten principles that they were built on are still there. lets get to the heart of the matter that i wanted to get to, THERE ARE NO CURES. the main virtues of hemp oil, vitamin c, homeopathy et al. is that they lack the horrible side effects of chemo. which as you may or may not know is poison, there are no two ways about it. your hoping it kills the tumor before it kills you. and those odds arent very good. even if you manage to get lucky and kill the tumor before it kills you, your health will never be the same again, doctors with all their pills and potions will leave their mark on your body forever. the reason why cancer is considered such a painful disease is because of all the poison the doctors pump you full of. there is only one way to health and that is to find the cause of cancer and remove it. your diet isnt as perfect as you think it is. vegetarianism has left a large bodycount. i dont know how much fresh air, rest, sunshine, exercise, clean water etc. you get but the cause of the tumor is in your life, its not a demon outside just attackign you at random. if you remove the tumor through chemo without removing the cause of the tumor it will be back in a form worse than before, and this is the beginning of the end for you. judging by the number of podcasts coming out recently you seem to be working like mad trying to get in a lot of work before you kick the bucket. natures cure is rest, a complete mental, physical and physiological rest. physiological rest meaning fasting. i hope you get well soon
