Hello, here is a little bit about me:
 
My origins
 
I was born in Latin America over 29 years ago. Tragically, I grew up in a family heavily influenced by Catholicism and with very little desire to challenge the established "wisdom" of our culture. 
  

A Turning Point

After I finished high school, I moved to the United States and I started my philosophical and self-evaluation journey. Away from my culture and family of origin, the pressure to conform to a set of beliefs disappeared. Sadly, loneliness sometimes is the soil where the desire for truth takes root. 

 
How I got here
 
One day, browsing through the web I spotted stefbot's videos and I was instantly lured. I was not attracted by the "radical" conclusions. Instead, the claim that knowledge, truth, and most importantly ethics are objective is what really caught my attention. That is exactly what I am looking for: Start from first principles and build from there on.
 
My Mission
 
I strive to always become a better person. This is my mission statement. I believe the journey towards living "the good life" is never over. We always have something to improve. The specific intermediate goals may vary from time to time, but I remind myself of that every time I start becoming too passive.
