  1. Your post strikes me as disingenuous. Is this really about the free market?
  2. I think that it is safe to say that the ideal for almost everyone is eradication. I think that even people who are opposed to vaccines could agree. I do not know many people who have had a smallpox vaccine. Perhaps I am missing the finer points of forum etiquette. But when someone starts a thread about vaccines and I make a post about a vaccine, I do not expect to be told that I am too far off topic and should start a new thread.
  3. I do not see how what Neil said has anything to do with language. He was asked a question about wether or not cell phones cause cancer. He was trying to say that believing they do cause cancer is irrational. There is a good study of pigion behavior that shows the same irrational thought process. http://youtu.be/9xrWqsLHd2M Let me know if this helps.
  4. In my first post I asked if you were trying to make me cry. I did cry on Saturday after watching your second video. I knew you were in a lot of pain and it overwhelmed me. I do not see any way to help you over a few forum posts. But when you say that you cannot find any solution, I think you may be right. Try to post your questions here and I will see if I can think of a solution. A solution that does not include a chemical that could further distort your thoughts.
  5. I do not understand why you posted the death rate from Polio rather than the number of people contracting Polio. I remember seeing a picture of a room with dozens of people in iron lungs. They were not dead, but they were also not healthy.
  6. Why do you think that ayahusaca will help you? Why are you going to Peru instead of having ahayusaca shiped to you?
  7. You have no unchosen positive obligations. You do not have a moral obligation to stop him. But I think that it is possible to defend other people without violating the NAP. You can choose to stop him or not stop him. It is up to you to decide.
  8. Are you trying to make me cry? If you are looking for answers, post your questions.
  9. Finding a cure for HIV has been a very difficult thing to do. In comparison staying healthy would be easy. In the same way I see first creating a stateless society to be the difficult part. Staying that way should be easy. Asking questions about an imagined stateless society and believing the imaginary people in it would make it turn back into a government run society seems like a bit of a dodge. Because if you do not believe that a free society can keep from becoming un-free again, then you probably think that it cannot exist in the first place. Asking questions about how to achieve a free society in the first place takes the discussion out of the realm of hypotheticals and could be a better discussion.
  10. Imagine that scientists discover a cure for HIV. That would be horrible. If I were to contract HIV, I would have to visit a doctor. No thank you. I would rather stay sick.
