  1. I know you said this was in part 3 a few comments back, but could you tell me at what time in part 3 Stefan says this? I'm not doubting you, I just don't want to search for it if you already know the position.
  2. I really don't think that's merited or necessary at all. This is a pretty straightforward question being posed to Stefan by a few of us here. So far, he has posted to clarify something like one word or phrase in how the question is worded, but then, once that's clarified, he isn't back to answer the question. What I mean is the boards aren't the only medium through which you can discuss this with him, in the event that he does not respond here in the time frame you desire. I feel like this question is the purpose of the Bomb in the Brain series. I've watched the series a few times now, and I get the feeling that this question is addressed in the series. Am I mistaken?
  3. Have you considered calling into the Sunday show?
  4. Where does he make this argument? Have you listened to any of his talks on epigenetics? 80-90% in the US, not worldwide. I don't think Stefan is a fan of culture. If it's culture, it's probably false. Things that are true are generally put in the category of science. When you refer to environment, are you considering the prenatal environment as well? What effects does a stressed mother have on a developing fetus? Will a child will grow up the same regardless of whether abuse is present or not? Environment is actually something parents have some control over. They cannot control the genetic markup they've been given.

  6. Here's another option. If you're using firefox, you can install an add-on called GreaseMonkey. Once you have that installed, just install this user script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25105
  7. Stefan, great video! Is anyone aware of any studies which compare the amount of research the average person does before having a child versus ____ (e.g. android tablet, a car, a house, a marriage...)?
  8. I wonder how this guy imagines how these raids would take place. Would the individuals executing the raids themselves be using guns? Obviously. He's implying that "guns are OK for me to use to take away your guns." No hypocrisy here.
  9. I am going to be making a parenting DVD featuring Stefan's content. The purpose of this DVD is to share with an aquaintance who doesn't have stable access to the internet. She is an expectant mother with two kids aged 7 and 10 from a previous marriage. She regularly uses spanking on them. She's the wife of the guy I confronted a few weeks ago. Suffice to say, she's thus far been open to getting more information on this subject, but she doesn't really have access to the internet to watch any of Stefan's videos. Here are some videos which I am considering putting on the DVD, but I am not certain of the order: The Facts on Spanking Why Does Everyone Pretend There's A 'Spanking Debate'? Philosophical Parenting: Dealing with Toddler Tantrums Toddler Conflicts!? Peaceful Parenting Philosophical Parenting - The Terrible Twos! Spanking Versus Permissiveness - Philosophical Parenting Bomb in the Brain series "The Philosophical Baby" - Dr Alison Gopnik Interviewed Dayna Martin and Stefan Molyneux: Philosophical Parenting Part 2 I'd like to get some feedback from the community regarding what content could be presented and some ideas on ordering. Thanks!
