You know that if you have kids with him, money is unlikely to be an issue. About the addiction to failure, I meant your failure, not his. Some people put themselves up for impossible tasks that they know deep down can't be accomplished, but they tell themselves it can be done, just so they can feel awful about it when it doesn't.

It depends on what in particular you'll be saying and where. Right now in most of the world you'll be safe (you have to investigate the situation in your own area), the problem might come later, however. If the situation is safe right now, but it becomes dangerous in the future, you can't really expect things to calm down just because you stop putting out content. At that point you're pretty much committed as continuing to put out content might keep you safer since they don't want to make a martyr out of you. We might all be in this situation already, who knows. Then again, if it comes to a point where they start doing serious false-flags and blaming all people who speak out against the guvmint, then even the risk of turning someone into a martyr might not deter them.

This is true. Although they could always arrange for their loved ones to leave the area before the nuke goes off. There have been reports of that happening in 9/11... Granted, this would be a far greater endeavor and involve many more people that would have to be warned. However, I would also like to add that people who engage in these acts typically don't have "loved ones" in the way you or I think of it.

However, in the scenario I described, government would only have to provide the bomb, but in the investigation they would either find that some enemy government provided it, or more likely blame real or fictitious terrorist organizations for it, even if it makes no sense to you or me that this organization would be able to acquire such a weapon without any govt help.

Well this would be great news if correct; as it would eliminate the possibility of a false-flag nuclear terrorist attack; which otherwise I would consider likely in the coming decades. In another way I suppose it could be bad news, if it means that tiny countries cannot rely on the threat of using nuclear bombs to safely and cheaply accommodate most national defense issues.Then again... if it's true that nuclear bombs aren't real, but they are believed to be real, and will continue to believed to be real, you get the best of both worlds... at least in this particular application. As you get the deterrent against invasion, without the (however remote) possibility of all out mutually assured destruction.
