2 recommendations would be to work on a bit of an intro or outro. The video stopped a little suddenly for me. Maybe ask watchers how they can get into contact with you to leave feedback or what kind of math topics they would like to hear? I'm not sure how you want the show to be structured, but that's just an idea. Also I would recommend not using super light yellow. It was very hard to see against the white. Otherwise, it was a great video. I very much second what LovePrevails said about just doing them many many times and eventually you will get a ton better. Look forward to seeing more!

As bitcoin moves toward mainstream, there will be many people and businesses who choose to openly state their wallet ownership. However, bitcoin still has the anonymous options and mixing services for those who do not want that. It is still positive movement by moving bitcoin to somewhat fit the existing system as the future potential and realization of what bitcoin actually is will be more accepted and less scary for people.

Don't tell them my true money acquisition plan! I want to keep the prices low while I hoard.... However, this article may even bring pause to some of the anti-bitcoiners. This provides a quite compelling reason as to why bitcion will go up in price over the next 6 months or so. Those people can put a little in to speculate and then get out by buying silver with their bitcoin or something. Everyone would be happy!

I recently noticed the poll feature for the threads, and have not seen anyone use them yet. I figured I would just make 3 general questions to see what people respond and raise awareness of the poll feature. I think it could be interesting to add to some of the threads where there are somewhat "sides" or "opinions" that people may take. Could be interesting, I would like to see the results!

I may have missed something, but I thought the point was that she wasn't really taking responsibility. She was passing off responsibility onto all of these other people. In order to apologize, you have to take responsibility for what was done, not say "I'm sorry" and then invent a bunch of excuses as to why it wasn't your fault.

You can follow a forum. Like I follow the Self Knowledge forum. I do not know, but it is possible that each thread posted in that forum I am then instantly added to the followers list for the thread.

Everybody is Normal Until You Get to Know Them
Wesley replied to MysterionMuffles's topic in Philosophy
I think I would consider someone calling me normal to be insulting. When I imagine the normal person as far as physical characteristics, ideas, work life, social relationships, and actions performed in life (maybe add a few more categories, but you get the idea) I probably would have a template of what not to do. -
Not irrational or crazy at all...

Here is a Jim Gaffigan skit where he makes fun of holiday traditions. One was the greeting card thing. Aw, that one ended too soon.. Watch this one @ 0:52 http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2423561/jim_gaffigan_valentines_day_and_greeting_cards/

Yea... this is definitely beyond rational debate.

I would think each board member donating $101 to FDR would be more likely to have a positive effect, rather than a 30 second ad that most people will not care about.

This is common. "Yes my parents beat me, but they also fed me, clothed me and gave me shelter. Thus, they are good people." "Sure Mandela ordered the killings of innocent people and was a violent terrorist, but he also worked to end apartheid and worked toward reconciliation. Thus, he is a good person." In my book, ordering the killing of innocent people makes you an evil person no matter how many potentially good things you may do after the fact. You commit an evil that is almost impossible to make up for, and I can guarantee that Mandela did not try to provide restitution to the victims of his crimes. All of the other stuff about his government running improperly or having bad policies is just icing on the cake. We know state is violence and thus the argument from effect on this is only to attempt to convince people who are not anarchists that he was bad at managing his farm.

I am not entirely sure what you are looking for by that post, however you may want to look at the thread in my signature to see if that gives you what you want.

I do not know about Christina except that Stef is very fond of her and the podcasts she is in she has had some good insights. Stef, on the other hand is not a therapist. He can bungee in and hit you with a big ball of truth to help you get past a sticking point (which can be incredibly useful) as well as help to apply philosophy to a confusing situation, but this is very different from a long-term therapeutic relationship with a trained professional. I would definitely suggest going through the sites that cherapple offered. It can be a bit daunting, but even going through types of therapy that you are interested in and finding a therapist who specializes in the area you want to work on can be very useful. Cell them and talk and see how you feel, knock some more off. Set up free office visits with those ones, knock some more off, and then you should be able to narrow it down to at least a few quality options. This podcast may also help: How to Find a Great Therapist http://media.freedomainradio.com/feed/FDR_1927_how_to_find_a_great_therapist.mp3

What does not having any friends say about you ?

This makes me wonder how good an FDR League of Legends (or something) game would be... -
Matthew 5:17-18 17"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.… Matthew 7:12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Romans 3:31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. It seems to me that Jesus didn't exactly overturn any of the Jewish law and teachings about warmongering, killing non-married virgins, witches, gay people and such but very much affirms it. Not to mention all of the murderous war that was committed by the Jewish people. He wants specifically to uphold the law.

With great cards to act out! Some of the amazing topics include: - The is/ought dichotomy - Nihilism - Existentialism - Deism - Free Will - Determinism - Empiricism - Realism - Dualism - Hedonism - Universally Preferable Behavior - Absolutism - Relativism - Agnosticism .... and many more! What could be more fun and enjoyable than trying to explain infinite regression to your philosophy classmates using only gestures? I can't think of anything! This is the next challenge for philosophers in debate as explaining UPB is so easy in speech, but now you are limited to only gestures! Now, for a limited time, our infinite regression payment plan is half price for each turtle! Yes, it is turtles all the way down, but when the price is cut from $9.99 per turtle to $4.98 per turtle it will only cost you half as much! There is a slim chance that this game does not exist and is somewhat proportional to the likelihood that the world does not exist and the odds that you are reading this advertisement currently. Legally, we are required to say this by our legal team which certainly does not exist. Get your copy of Philosophy Charades today!

God is consciousness without material form, which is a contradiction. He is omnipotent and omniscient, a contradiction. He is perfect and creates imperfect things, which is a contradiction. God is good but kills millions. God is omniscient and surprised. I am sure there are many other such contradictions. If you can, I would be interested to see how God is defined without any contradictions.

I did go through a similar experience. When you realize what a real relationship is, and then realize that none of your relationships qualify as real relationships, it can be a very difficult transition. Not because you are rejecting or isolating yourself, but because you realize how things actually are. It can be confusing at times to make these life transitions, which is why it is better to go through it will a therapist's support, but you said this wasn't really possible for you right now. I am very sorry that none of your friends and family made it through. That makes me very sad that you haven't had a relationship that was worth keeping. I do think it is good to recognize things as they are. It affords you the time to make good and healthy relationships, which this step allows you the opportunity to meet those kinds of people.

Joe Rogan mentions that Stefan will be back on his podcast soon.
Wesley replied to Clay's topic in General Messages
The Adam Kokesh podcast would be good prep for Stef (as well as interesting to FDR listeners). If I remember correctly, Joe was pretty open to the ideas and was doing ok on things. A productive 3 hour show on his side. I think most of the negativity from the ideas came from Redban. It has certainly been a while since I listened, so I could be totally off, but that is how I remember it. -
It means that this indicator is indicating that it will drop soon. Which bitcoin has dropped to 877 as I am typing this. If you were a day trader, you would sell and buy back. As a long-term investor, I will try to find a bottom and increase my position with slightly cheaper coins. It means that the short term mania is ended and we will see what higher price bitcoin plans to settle at for a bit. Though, of course, anything could happen.
