I love rational thought, and finding FDR has been a dream come true!!!  I am an Anatomy & Physiology Professor at a college; but, despite the fact I am tenured, I see firsthand how this system can lead to corruption in higher education.

 I love animals and I share my home with 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 fish.  I am also a vegan, eating mostly raw fruits and veggies. The cats and dogs that live with me are carnivores, and they eat raw meat.   I am also the lead singer in a rock band, and I enjoy playing guitar too.  I live in a small town where religion is emphasized, and I have felt the pressure from members of the town I live in as well as from coworkers to become a member in a religious group (usually the cult the person trying to persuade me to join belongs to).  Being that these are the types of people I am surrounded by, I often feel very lonely.   Being that I teach at a college, many of my coworkers assume I share the socialist principles that they do.  This too is quite frustrating, and makes me feel very uncomfortable to share my opinions about the corruption of the state.  This is why I have decided to join FDR.  I would love to meet others that have the capacity to think rationally and openly about life and society.
