Rick Horton

Hello gentlemen and women. My name is Rick Allen Horton. I live in Boca Raton, FL. I'm a musician, artist, and philosopher. Of course, I have to hold a day job to pay the bills, which right now is at Smokey Bones BBQ as a line chef. I found Stefan through my curiosity and rigorous studies in philosophy and I thought, well THERE is a man who thinks deeply and thoroughly, passionately, sensably, and honorably. I, too, find this the best way to live, and search for happiness. I love the pursuit of truth, through rational diligent testing, which makes me somewhat annoying to people who talk about religion, ethics, and politics, to me. Somehow I have the knack to think from a place that I can tare my beliefs down once they are obliterated by knowledge. I guess that makes me seem unstable, and unreliable to people who prefer to not question what they know.  But, whatever. I'm like a vampire. I won't come in unless you invite me, and once you do, I'll proceed with honor. Sometimes honor is mistaken, though, as an assault on a person's belief, so it's a balancing act for sure.
